Home Made Ice Cream
1 large can carnation milk
3 Teaspoons caster sugar
1 Teaspoon gelatine
1 Teaspoon vanilla essence
1 Tablespoon boiling water
Pour undiluted carnation milk, caster sugar and vanilla into ice-cream tray.
Thoroughly dissolve gelatine in boiling water and while hot, stir into milk mixture.
Place in fridge and chill until ice crystals form.
Pour into chilled mixing bowl and beat until stiff.
Freeze rapidly at low temperature.
