Seafood Spinach Quiche


2 eggs

1/2 cup grated cheese

2/4 cup cooked chopped taro or silverbeet leaves

1 Teaspoon salt

23 cm unbaked pie shell (shortcrust or flaky)

3/4 cup milk

1 Tablespoon grated onion

1 cup cooked crab meat or prawns

1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper

Beat eggs with milk, add cheese, onion, chopped leaves and crab or prawns, salt and cayenne pepper.

Carefully pour into 23cm unbaked pie shell of shortcrust or flaky pastry.

Bake in a 220 dgrees (celsius) oven for the first 10 minutes.

Reduce heat to 160 degrees and bake for a further 25-30 minutes.

Serve immediately.

Serves 5-6.
