Moulding Paste 2
(for solid figurines and cake decorations)
5ml liquid glucose
2 large egg whites
500g pure icing sugar
Mix the first 4 ingredients for 2 mins with a fork in a large bowl - it will go funny - lumpy etc. Don't worry.
Cover with a damp cloth and leave it for one hour.
Rub in the icing sugar well with your hands.
If too dry, add a little water, say 5mls at a time, until you get the right consistency. If too soft, add icing sugar.
Apply copha to your hands, and mix well.
This mix will keep for months in the refrigerator - seal in plastic bag, and airtight container.
