Cabbage Rolls


750gm ground beef

375gm ground pork

2 chopped onions

2 teaspoons sugar

2 cups cooked rice

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 cabbage

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup cream


Combine meat, onion, sugar, seasoning.

Add rice

Blanche cabbage leaves in boiling water.

Roll each cabbage leaf around 3 tablespoons of meat-rice mixture and secure with toothpicks.

Place rolls in greased baking pan and dot with butter. Add 1 1/2 cups of water.

Bake in a moderate oven at 180°C for 30 minutes on each side.

Heat cream and pour over rolls to serve.
