7g satchet dried yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 cup hot water
2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Combine yeast and sugar in a small bowl and stir in the water.
Add to the sifted flour and salt, and mix into a firm dough.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface, and knead for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Divide mixture into balls about 4cm in diameter (for mini pizzas).
Place onto a greased baking tray, and press out into circles about 7cm in diameter.
To make topping
Spread each pizza base with tomato paste, and top with toppings of choice. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in a moderately hot oven for 10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Serve immediately.
