Add oil and butter to a pan, and gently fry onions, garlic and mixed herbs until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef, and break down into a non-chunky consistency.
Once the ground beef is browned, add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes.
Add half a tin (tomato tin size) of water, and allow the bolognaise to simmer and reduce.

To complete the Lasana:
Place a thin layer of Cheese Sauce in the base of your tray or dish. Cover this with a layer of the Lasagna Sheets. Place a layer of the Bolognaise mixture over the Lasagna Sheets, and then cover with another layer of the Lasagna Sheets.
Place a layer of the shaved ham over the Lasagna Sheet, and then cover with another layer of the Lasagna Sheet.
Repeat all three layers once more, and end with a layer of the Cheese Sauce.
Sprinkle greated cheese on top of the Cheese Sauce.
Bake in at 180°C for 30-45 minutes, or until the cheese on top of the Lasagna is melted and golden.
