BBQ Ginger Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

This recipe is really inexpensive to make. For a family of 4 adults, it costs me under $10 - including the rice!!

1 pkt Chicken Wings

1 cup Barbecue Sauce

2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

2 Teaspoons Ground Ginger

1/2 - 1 Teaspoon Dried Chilli Flakes

Finely chopped red capsicum (red pepper) and shallots (spring onion) - for garnish

Method:

In a large bowl, combine BBQ Sauce, Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Ground Ginger and Dried Chilli Flakes.

Remove the tips of the Chicken Wings, and cut the remaining chicken wing at the joint, to give two pieces of chicken per chicken wing.

Place the pieces into the marinade and thoroughly coat them.

Lay the chicken pieces into a baking dish or tray and bake at 180°C for an hour, turning once midway through the cooking process.

When cooked, place on a serving tray, garnish with the red capsicum and shallots and serve with steamed rice.
